Ursprünglich aus Irland, wo Folk-Musik an jeder Straßenecke erklingt, kam Ethan Carey im Alter von 21 Jahren nach Luxemburg. Nachdem er sich in Parks und Cafés seine Sporen verdient hatte, etablierte er sich schnell in der lokalen Musikszene: Als Frontmann der Alternative-Rock-Band SCIAN, Leadgitarrist bei LEEN und Gründer des Punkrock-Projekts Pilot Light ist er seit mehreren Jahren erfolgreich in verschiedenen musikalischen Formationen aktiv. Doch er hat nicht vor, es dabei zu belassen! Der Beweis: Unterstützt von seinen langjährigen Weggefährten Pedro Gonzalez und Cyril Yabroudi wird Ethan mit seinem ersten Solo-Projekt auf unserer Bühne stehen — eine Rückkehr zu seinen musikalischen Wurzeln, getragen von folk-amerikanischen Klängen im Stil von Ryan Adams, Ariel Posen und Lord Huron.

Originally from Ireland, where folk music echoes from every street corner, Ethan Carey moved to Luxembourg at the age of 21. After honing his craft performing in parks and cafés, he quickly established himself in the local music scene — as leader of the alt-rock band SCIAN, lead guitarist of LEEN, and founder of the punk rock project Pilot Light, he has been juggling multiple projects for several years. But he’s far from done! Supported by longtime collaborators Pedro Gonzalez and Cyril Yabroudi, Ethan will take to our stage with his first solo project — a musical return to his roots, driven by folk-Americana sounds in the vein of Ryan Adams, Ariel Posen, and Lord Huron.
